Gently

gently, avoid the needles prick before you dive into your deepest wounds

tease and tug the threads of time to pull together, mend and soothe

gently, tear and shred old fabrics in shades of grey and cloth that aches

sow and weave with every stitch, new inceptions with each dawn break

and gently, as you paint in red, press all your strength into your cupid’s bow

gently weave patterns into your unruly mane or let it blow in the wind as new seasons grow

but be fierce with some things

it’s important you know,

of the immense power in your intuitive and timeless soul

be fierce unabashedly with your redefining passion and take with each setback a valuable lesson;

never be afraid of the healing power of love

the importance of forgiveness, and ability to indulge

in every minuscule or massive aspect of your being and with dedication, you’ll find it freeing

to sweep the webs away within your home

the internal throne room where you sit alone

but surrounded by thoughts of your own command

where you reside as your most important connection, lover and friend.
